U.K. 2014

I have this excel sheet. It lists destinations, activities and travel times and pops out an itinerary for our 2014 European vacation. Andy hates it. I think it’s the best thing since sliced bread. Who wouldn’t want a specific itinerary with names/dates/reservations? Artsy people. That’s who.

Our trip to Europe has been Andy’s motivation to finish university, which will finally be happening this Christmas. [Cue cheering here]. So obviously I’ve been planning it since last summer. We will have 2.5 weeks to eat drink and cycle our way across England, Scotland and the Irelands. I am getting stoked.

Current highlights we have planned include the Harry Potter Studio Tour, Honister Mine Extreme Climbing Course, Coasts and Castles Cycling Route and of course the Guiness Factory Tour.

Have you been to the UK? Any things we shouldn’t miss or places to stay/stay away from? Let me know!

PS: Virgin America just released their new safety video – I’m tempted to fly Virgin now, just to see it in person.

Didn’t know there was a Harry Potter World there? Is it like Disney Land?

  4. I’m so beyond excited for you guys! Haha you and your excel sheets, I swear you should have married them instead of Andy 😉 As for places to see, the more castles the better in my opinion! I can’t wait to hear about the Harry Potter tour, I had no idea there was such a thing!
